Membership Meeting at the Marriott Centerpointe Motel

The membership meeting for March 2010 is scheduled for Sunday, March 21 at the Marriott Centerpointe Hotel from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. The Marriott Hotel was the site of the 2006 National Meet and is located at the northwest corner of Square Lake Road and Opdyke Road – just off the Square Lake Road exit from I-75.

We will start with a general business meeting and discuss several future events including the new Cars R Stars at the PPG car show and the 2013 Packard National Meet. At the conclusion of the business meeting, we will screen a one-hour long made for TV documentary movie about the history of Packard. This Richard W. Larkin production traces the company’s heritage from 1899 to 1958 using archival photos, vintage movies, and current images – some taken at the Packard Proving Grounds Open House in the spring of 2009. Movie star and voice of the History Channel, Ed Herrmann, narrates the documentary. Refreshments will be served.
