July-August 2008 Comrades

Bruce Blevins received this note and photo of Jerry Daugherty and Bob Rosenthal and passed it along. It not only sums up the overall reaction to the meet, but captures the essence of Motor City Packards and our great hobby in general.

Many thanks for a beautifully engineered and managed rally.

In looking at the attached photo I tried to think of a suitable title and finally decided that "Comrades" says it all. These two guys have known each other for years and enjoyed the cars together. Friendships like theirs are one of the genuine blessings of the vintage car movement. I hope they will have many more years to enjoy the Packards, Model L Lincolns and each other's fellowship.
